How long are therapy sessions?

Calico Speech Therapy, Inc offers both 30, 45, and 60 minute private pay sessions, depending on your child's specific goals and needs. Sessions include direct intervention, time for discussion of strategies, and continued home practice.

Do you accept insurance?

We are not in-network with any insurance plans at the moment.  We are private pay and are considered an out-of-network provider.  A "superbill" is available upon request for submitting to insurance for reimbursement.  We highly recommended that you reach out to your insurance provider to determine if they accept a superbill before beginning services.  We are not able to guarantee reimbursement

What forms of payment are accepted?

We accept a variety of payment methods including cash, checks, credit cards, debit cards, Health Savings Accounts (HSA), and Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA).

Payment is due at the time of service and a credit or debit card will be required to be kept on file regardless of payment method.

Why private pay?

Private pay allows us the ability to develop a treatment plan specifically for your child. There are no limitions on placed number or length of sessions, the goals to be addresse, or the treatment approaches to be used.

Are you a San Andreas Regional Center (SARC) vendor?

We are currently in the process of becomming a SARC vendor and look forward providing Early Start services in the future.

Where are services provided?

We are a mobile outpatient service and can provide services in the convience of your home. Service can also be provided at daycare/preschool settings with approval or other community settings. Online therapy is available throughout California.

Do you require an evaluation?

An evaluation within the last year in the area you are seeking therapy may be used to plan treatment. Please check with your insurance as some require an evaluation if you plan on getting reimbursed with a superbill.
